FAQs

Q1. What are the differences in appearance between Lumintex™ Edition and Standard Edition of Milky Way Galaxy phone cases?

A1. Material Colors:The yellow yarns in the Lumintex™ Edition are made from Lumintex™ fiber, while the Standard Edition uses aramid fiber.

Q2. How does the luminous phone case work?

A2. The glowing part of the case is made from Lumintex™ fiber, a luminous material that can absorb energy when exposed to a bright light source, and then emit a soft glow in the dark

Q3. Are there any special care instructions for this phone case?

A3. Avoid prolonged exposure of the luminous area to high-energy UV lamps (≥15W) for more than 3 minutes.
Do not store the case in environments exceeding 80°C for more than 3 months.

Q4. How long does the glow last every time?

A4. The glow can last up to 20 minutes, depending on the intensity of the light source and how long the case was exposed to the light. Please note that the brightness will gradually decrease over time.

Q5. Why couldn't I find the MagEZ Case and MagEZ Case Pro on your site now?

A5. We've updated the names of our cases to highlight their key features. The MagEZ Case is now split into two series:Ultra-Slim Cases for classic minimalist design;Tactile Woven Cases for unique textures and refined aesthetics. The MagEZ Case Pro is now known as our Military-Grade Protective case, emphasizing its superior impact protection. The name change is meant to make it easier for more customers to choose the right cases, based on their needs. But no worries, it has no impact on the quality and functionality of each case.

Q6. Can PITAKA's iPhone 15 case work with Apple’s MagSafe accessories?

A6. Yes, PITAKA MagEZ case 4 series are compatible with Apple Official MagSafe accessories.

Q7. Is the case anti-fingerprint?

A7. Our iPhone 15 case is made with aramid fiber and processed with 3 layers of paint to ensure it's skin-friendly and non-slip. Whether a fingerprint mark will be left depends on your hand conditions. It is not easy to leave a fingerprint if the hand is dry. For sweaty hands, fingerprint marks may be left, but it is very easy to clean with a cloth/Nano cotton/eraser/alcohol pad.

Q8. With this case, can I charge my iPhone 15 on third-party wireless chargers?

A8. PITAKA MagEZ Case 4 series are embedded with magnetic rings that do not cover the wireless charging area and highly fit with the magnetic ring built in the iPhone 15 series. Plus, it's super slim. So if your iPhone 15 can be charged on third-party wireless chargers, it should work even with the case on.

Q9. Why does magnetism seem to be weaker than in previous phone cases? For example, the iPhone 13 series.

A9. Too strong a magnetic force may have a negative impact on the charging speed. We have fine-tuned the magnetic force of the new phone case to ensure that it provides safe magnetic force while ensuring charging efficiency.

Q10. Why does the "StarPeak" phone case have a textured pattern on the back?

A10. We wanted to provide users with a more three-dimensional tactile experience with the "StarPeak" phone case. To achieve this, we incorporated a technique known as jacquard weaving into the Fusion Weaving process. This technique involves weaving patterns by interlocking warp and weft threads to create a textured and raised design.Jacquard weaving itself has the characteristic of being different on the front and back. The front features a woven pattern texture, while the back consists of interwoven threads. What appears to be a single-layer effect is actually the result of two layers of aramid fibers intertwining. Due to the presence of multiple layers of aramid fiber in certain areas, a textured pattern is formed when the phone case is molded (similar to how patterns in knitted sweaters may appear raised). This is a trace of our craftsmanship, reflecting the weaving process and adding to the handmade charm. The irregular pattern signifies a more complex weaving process, which requires additional manual craftsmanship. If you are concerned about the traces of handwork, think carefully before buying.
